I am from East Tennessee near the Pigeon Forge area. I grew up loving music and was part of the band from 5th to 12th grade, so I love to incorporate music into my lessons and classroom environment. I am married and have two cats, Leo and Phil. I also have two classroom guinea pigs, Corneleus and Gilbert,  who will hang out with us all year!

This will be my 5th year teaching, all at DMS, and my 4th year teaching 7th grade science. I love watching my students learn something new, and especially about things they're passionate about! Science is so much fun, so I can't wait to show you all the awesome things we'll do this year!
